Industrial levelling wheels: the different applications

This is why flexible solutions are increasingly in demand to organise company spaces and production sites in the best possible way.
Levelling castors: materials and number of holes
A safe and quick solution for moving equipment, heavy machinery and workplaces in a wide variety of sectors, from the medical sector to workshops and large companies, is the use of industrial levelling castors. Levelling wheels vary in structure, number of holes (one or four) and covering materials.
Nuova Tecnica offers different types of wheels and castors for lifting and moving machinery and bulky goods.

If a multifunctional lifting wheel is desired, i.e. one that allows both load handling and load positioning and levelling, the 1-hole GD-100S levelling wheel is recommended, as this type of wheel, once applied to the machine, becomes an integral part of it.
On the other hand, a 4-hole levelling wheel with a square mounting plate is the GD60F model, which has a levelling foot and swivel wheel in one.
Stainless steel levelling castors are also recommended in the pharmaceutical and food industries, i.e. where cleaning and sanitising are the order of the day.
Lifting and levelling castors: 1 product 3 functions
Therefore, the 3 basic solutions for:
- lifting heavy machinery
- moving them within working environments
- levelling them with respect to the floor, thus becoming stable work surfaces.

How levelling wheels are operated and locked
The procedure for operating the 2 modes is intuitive:
- all that is needed is a spanner with which to set the wheels into movement mode or, by turning the 'star' in the opposite direction, to start the wheel stall.
The effectiveness and safety of the operators and the load supported by the wheels are ensured by the careful design and testing of this product, as well as by the anti-vibration axle and locking system with which each levelling wheel model is equipped.
